Only good as decor. Used this two times before the plunger broke. We still love it because of the design. I see a lot of reviews saying that its mostly plastic. Yes, the R2D2 is plastic but the carafe is glass. The plunger is plastic and some metal. Its definitely cute to have as decor if you have a coffee station in your kitchen but if you are planning on using it as a coffee maker you are better off buying a Bodum.
This is made of plastic and of poor quality, very expensive for what it is. Nice as a novelty item but not very practical for hot coffee though. Looks cheap, I would not recommend. Refund requested!
