Adorable, but not functional. I have used this R2D2 press only 10-12 times, and I noticed coffee grounds in my cup this last time. I noticed while rinsing it, the entire filter press assembly is apart.Since I am past the 30 day return window, I am now stuck with a cute decor item that no longer functions as it should.
Great looking french press. Bought for my wife for christmas as she loves french press coffee but broke her previous one. The decorative-ness of it fits well into our other star wars decor, and it makes a nice cup of coffee. We have not used it yet for a cold brew but are eager to.**WE STRONGLY ADVISE you either self grind or buy a good "COURSE GROUND" Coffee for the press as a fine ground or "regular" ground coffee can sometimes work its way past the screens**
Crack in the press causing the bolt to come out. The press cracked and will not hold the bolt in place. When we press slowly the bolt comes out which doesn’t allow you to press all the way. Can we get a replacement piece?
