PERFECT ROBOT. BUY IT. Perfect. No issues at all. We never wear shoes at home and I used to wash floors regularly with a hand mop. Not anymore. It cleans really good, comes close to walls and corners, doesn't get stuck. Vacuums very well. App is very good. Immediate customer support. Does not have small items recognition, so I pick up wires and socks. I don't want to pay double to have this function. It's a great robot already. Just clean the robot and the mop and it will serve you well. Great little helper.
Update: Completely broke. Update:After paying to get it fixed (under warranty???), it went back to being broken within 2 months. Exact same problem, too! Bad product, worse support.I'm in love with how many features this robot has - it works 10x better than Roombas at the same price point. The warranty, not so much. The charger dock broke right before the warranty expired. Roborock made the process as difficult as possible; I had to pay for my own shipping and spend hours acquiring documentation for them.
Poor for area rugs & carpet. I bought this to replace my 12 year old Roomba 500 Series.Pros:* Great navigation and app* Vacuums hardwood floors well* Mop works better than expectedCons:* Really struggles on the edge of my area rugs and usually folds them up instead of vacuuming* Does not vacuum carpet well at all, leaving dirt and hair. Replaced rubber brush with Q5 bristled brush and got improved performance* Dirt bin is too small and hard to empty. I have to stick my hands in the dirt and pull it out of the bin because it won't fall out into the trash can.Overall, navigation and mopping is great on the S7, but my old Roomba did a better job vacuuming, especially on carpet/rugs.
Save your $. I bought the roborock s7 initially on prime day. I was thrilled for the first couple weeks. Week 5 it stopped working. Customer service has been a nightmare. It's past the 30 days for return with Amazon of course. Definitely regretting this purchase. Think twice before you buy!
Does wonders for daily cleaning. This is totally worth the money for me! We’ve had the basic Roomba for years and I always wanted something that would map out the house and be able to stay out of areas without blocking them off. I was sold on this one when I realized it mops too! It is definitely not deep cleaning and it leaves faint mop lines on our tile but it’s way better than the dusty foot prints that show up daily on the floors. I bought extra mop pads and change it out daily. It does my main areas daily and I have it cycle through Al the other rooms throughout the week. Definitely worth the money, very happy with the purchase, keeps messy floors at bay in between deep cleanings.
Cleans well, App is garbage, No 5GHz Wifi. Great cleaning. Doesn’t connect to app. Device doesn’t support 5GHz networks. App doesn’t support passwords with special characters (!$# etc) or longer than 12 characters long. Doesn’t inspire faith in their software lol.
Like Invented the washing machine again. very intelligent No need setting hardware virtual wall . Automatically detected carpets and stairs ,cleaning well and wipe well! Save me a lot time . like When washing machine was Invented back then.
Gets lost or stuck frequently. With LIDAR, a map of my home'e floor plan, and bump sensors, you would think this $650 robot vacuum would be excellent at avoiding obstacles and getting stuck. Well, you'd be wrong. This things is constantly getting stuck or lost in my home. Sometime it will just sit on the edge of a carpet and bare floor for 2-3 minutes moving left and right but not going anywhere. Many times it cannot find the dock to return to charging. The map keeps changing and adding rooms that don't exist. Plus the dust bin collector is never full because the tube leading to the bin gets clogged. Very disappoj Ted with the performance of this robot vacuum. If I could return it for a full refund I would.
Great Robot Vacuum. This is my first Robot vacuum cleaner, and I am very pleased with it. I love the functionality and ability to control everything from the app. I typically clean a few rooms at a time so that I can use the deep cleaning features. So far, I have been very happy with the results. It never fails to surprise me how much dirt this vacuum finds and picks up. I have also enjoyed the mopping feature, though it has taken me some time to understand the quirks. Initially, I wasn't sure the mopping function was working well enough to bother with it. But I have learned that it helps to wet the mop pad ahead and then set it to do just mopping on the deep cleaning setting for at least 2-3 rounds. It seems to do a much better job this way. I ordered extra mop pads so that I can change them out after it has deep cleaned a room or two (depending on the size of the rooms). That way, the pads don't get too dirty and just start moving dirt around the house.
