Upgrade from S5. This thing is awesome. I love my S5 Max, and I'm still using it on a different floor. The biggest improvement is rug handling, and it doesn't get stuck as often on edges (carpet or room transitions).The mop function is slightly improved, but it's still more of a fancy floor duster. Don't get me wrong, the floors feel great after it mops. It just won't get stains or anything stuck on the floor. It's kinda pricey, but absolutely worth it on sale.
Works but difficult for different floors. This works really well on completely flat vinyl and wood flooring. I can’t seem to get to transition any more over area rugs. If mop canister is installed it won’t do any area that can’t be mopped meaning it’s not smart enough to not use the solution when it’s already identified carpet and/or rugs. Very frustrating. Overall it vacuums well but the mop feature is mediocre at best.
Effective. Easy to set up. I currently have several grand-pets staying with me - one a German shepherd and he sheds a lot! This works great for daily cleaning and has done wonders in keeping my floors clean for my grand baby who crawls and lives here part-time. FYI: Not the best to clean up spaghetti thrown on the floor. Also recommend you get the auto empty dock as the container on the device is pretty small
Love it!!. I am not sure why I waited so long to jump on the robo vaca craze. It works really really well. I am still going to deep clean with both the vac and mop once a month but this is defiantly keeping my house clean between deep cleans. I have mixed flooring of floor rugs, hardwood and tile. It adjusts to all these surfaces and has gotten itself out of a few tight places. I has gotten hung up behind a chair or caught in the bathroom. I have made these areas off limits and its getting better and better with each use. I have already gotten 3 friends to purchase based on my recommendation and all are pleased. Love it!
Amazing machines. A bit of a learning curve. A call to the company and I was given directions for my questions.My house was mapped and cleaned quickly. I have used the Roborock S7 many times and LOVE IT! Cleans amazingly well. Seriously, don’t know how we lived without it.
Smart robot. Very good vacuum + mop function into one robot. It took me a chunk of time to clean the floor but now I just sit back and set schedule for the robot to do cleaning. Only complain is the dust filter is easy to capture the dust which means I cannot just empty it without touching. Most of time I’ll either have to rinse it under water or put my fingers in to remove lints. Otherwise it’s a very smart robot
Love it so far. I looked at these for a year before I got one on Amazon day, just get it.It has been amazing so far, going to get the auto empty base next.I have it cleaning my high traffic areas every day, everything else twice a week. No running into walls, no sneaking into rooms it shouldn't be in. We don't even have to put our stools on the kitchen island.
It’s ok at first.. The first few times we used this vacuum it was great but after about a week I noticed there was still some dog hair here and there after it went around the whole house. We’ve tried remapping the house, emptying it every 10 min (hair gets stuck in the suction and won’t go all the way to the canister), nothing works. Our entire home is tile flooring. Never had an issue with our previous s5 model. This one just isn’t made as well as their previous ones which sucks bc they’re not cheap.. too late to return so we’re screwed.
Roborock Sucks In All The Right Ways. When I received this vacuum, I didn't have very high expectations. However, this vacuum/mop excels. The mopping function is just what I need it to be, I can schedule the vacuum to run on specific days in specific rooms and not give any further thought to it.The ease of use is extremely high. You install a base for the vacuum along a wall, connect with it using the app, and off it goes. The vacuum maps your home (while vacuuming) and after it finishes, it automatically divides the home into "rooms". After that, you can have the vacuum only go to specific rooms, have it never go in specific areas, or only mop in specific areas, etc.Full disclosure, I don't have pets or kids, so my needs for vacuuming are low by comparison. But it's great at spot-vacuuming or mopping, and I have zero issues with the vacuum at this time.
Love our robot!. We have had our robot vacuum & mop for about a month and we love it! Works very well, great suction, picks up lots of pet hair, and mops nicely. Love the app where I can program no-go areas and different zones for mopping vs vacuuming.
