Great vacuum, but read on if you have pets. After purchasing one for myself I decided to buy another a gift for my sister. The docking station does a poor job of emptying pet hair and has to be emptied manually most of the time due to clogging. Also use caution when setting these up to run at night or in your absence if you have pets. A dog got sick and this thing ran straight through it and mopped the house with liquid dog p**p on the mop head after it drove straight trough it.
Revolutionary device for us. How did we live without it?. This robot vacuum has been as revolutionary as when we bought our first microwave oven, or our first cell phone. It vacuums every morning, takes about 1 hour, floors are always clean. I love watching it work. Setup was easy. I know that there are many of these devices on the market and this is our first one. But I completely love it. It could not be better in any way.
Product broke quickly and customer service was difficult. I would avoid purchasing this device. I bought it in December and 8 months later it failed. It was no subject to hard use. I called their service department and was met with demands for pictures 3 calls later they decided I needed to send it in for service. First the demanded I research and provide email proof of when and where I bought it. They then sent an email saying even though it was in the warranty period, it might not be covered. Their customer service seems suspect and they seem unwilling to fix a $900 product that worked for less than a year
This tech is amazing. Way better than Roomba. Bought this Roborock S7 to replace a 3 year old Roomba for my wife. The Roomba worked fine, but this Roborock is a whole different level of tech. The mobile app and AI mapping are really impressive. The automatic mapping worked great and I was able to configure exact areas with names for each room. I love that it shows exactly where it has cleaned during each session and you can specify certain rooms for cleaning.The mopping feature works surprisingly well, but we only use it occasionally and always make sure to prep the mop attachment.I would say the vacuuming is about on par with the Roomba, so that is a little disappointing, but the extra features are more than enough to make this a great upgrade in my opinion.
Love this robot. I've had the Roborock S7 for a month and with three pets and three boys in the house I have this robot cleaning every day. I love that I can schedule the cleaning. The mop is like a damp mop, not a deep clean, but mopping regularly keeps the floors clean. Emptying the dust bin is messy, I ordered the automatic empty doc after a few times of cleaning out the dust bin. The automatic empty doc is not cheap but worth it because I use the vacuum feature so much.
Died in 9 months. Water tank started to leak into the main operating system and ended up messing up the electronics. Had to pay to get it shipped to get it fixed, even though it was their products fault. I knew I should have going with iRobot.Also, poor deep cleaning. Rug always felt dirty after. Not terrible mopping feature.
