poor value for money. Lidar sensors and "AI" sound promising, cleaning results are mediocre at best.App is mandatory, but rates one star. Vacuum gets stuck almost every time it runs, defeated by any rug. Hasn't been able to learn / adapt despite running several times a week for over a year.Creating "no go zones" to avoid all the areas the vacuum can't understand is one approach; an approach that also means you will need to manually vacuum after the S7 runs.Mopping feature also not worth much, sometimes can't tell if it mopped or not.Buy a "bump and go" robot vacuum, this one isn't worth the cost.
Awesome robo for family. Brought it based the friend recommendation and my family not disappointed With the buy. Robo work per need and clean wonderful all places and outcome is satisfaction.
Wonderful machine - One year later. Herbert (our S7) is a year old. He has spent 169 hours (507 cycles) cleaning a total of 73,000 sq ft. The first floor of our open plan home has about 1500 sq ft of almost white 15x30 porcelain tile; the second floor is light engineered hardwood. There are oriental rugs on both floors. Herbert cleans it all very well. He is able to gather up the hair of our large Australian Shepherd as well as my wife's long, blond hair. Yes, he does mess up the fringe on the oriental rugs but never damages them. I love the ability to have him make two passes on the porcelain floors as he reverses direction for the second pass. Guests often remark how clean the floors are. Herbert gets full credit. (For the record, Herbert is named after the 31st President of the United States.)
Roborock S7 app. It seems like the machine works fine, the problem is the app, I have Iphone 12 pro max IOS 15.61. It is 5G. I downloaded the app, and it says it does not support 5G. So now, I have a wonderful item and no way to control it. How can this be fixed?
It is not as smart as projected. I have used this robot vacuum cleaner for more than 10 times already however, it does not pick the dirt or hair, which is just in front of it. It’s suction power is not that great at all. Honestly, it does not perform as much as it has been advertised.
Love my Roborock. They clean great a definite must for me with 5 dogs. This is my second Roborock my s5 lasted me a few years then I got a newer model. I did start having some issues with it almost a year after I had it but I was absolutely shocked how good their customer service and warranty department was. I will definitely be brand loyal. Great product with great customer service.
Movings parts break too often and not covered by warranty. I don't like any company that mentions that it's not covered by warranty. I don't read fine prints on the warranty. There are moving parts that cost around $40 and fail too often. I would consider it expensive compared to the total cost of the equipment.
