This robot is aimed at young children between 3 - 8 years old. It is made from plastic but does have a very nice shiny metallic finish. It comes with a USB cable to charge the robot.Overall I am extremely impressed with it. My nephew who is 5 years old absolutely loves it. It keeps him super occupied and he is very keen to play with it.It does different movements like it moves back and forth and makes different sounds. The robot is very attractive for children due to its colourful LED lights. It would make a wonderful gift for any child. The instruction manual was simple to understand. It is priced quite reasonably compared to other similar toys.It is very good value for money and I would definitely recommend this for children and it would make a wonderful gift.It appears quite strong which is perfect since its for children
For such a high price I was expecting a much better quality toy but the responses from the robot are erratic or fail completely. The robot looks impressive with a metallic appearance, so immediately it gets the "Wow" factor and the colour changing eyes are a great feature, but after that, everything seems very odd. Is this a toy for a toddler or an 8 year old?. The gun (with 3 bullets which seem to need some Viagra as their trajectory is always downwards ) is an inappropriate feature on a toy which plays nursery rhymes, makes animal noises (well, I think that's what they are supposed to be) and tells stories. The science facts are basic, and again--to whom are they supposed to appeal? The movements are very limited. The robot is on wheels and moves accordingly. It is supposed to be able to dance, but it just changes direction. The robot is operated from a battery driven remote control, and the robot is rechargeable.
What a cracking toy. This is a good size and straight from the box, even with the additional controller not turned on the Robot starts to talk and move. The Robot has a nice light-up face of various colour. It moves seemlessley and asks for instructions from its master. If you don’t do anything the robot complains. The Robot has many functions. For the young ones its does the a-b-c and signs “If you are happy and you know it”.For the older children the Robert can fire missiles - small plastic and I am sure pretty safe. The robots movements are sleek and when you use the controller, which at first sight looks a little bit intimidating, really is easy to use. All directions commands are easy to follow.
Got this for my nephew to play with as it says ages 3+ on Amazon, slightly disappointed as the box actually says ages 6+ so now might have to wait until he's atleast 4 to play with him. I've had a go myself and it's easy enough to use and with kids using technology so young these days I think he'd pick it up really quickly anyway. Be careful as it does have a few small parts but other than that it's a great little toy, probably not for the older aged children but good fun with the little ones.
This is a great robot for younger children. My grandsons loved the music it played. It took a while to charge and was slightly scratched. I'd say it wouldn't entertain older children (10-12) for very long but the younger children love it. It comes with a little gun and a screwdriver in the box, so just be aware of this if you have small children in the house. This is a fun first robot toy to have, is nice and light but still chunky to grip and is lots of fun
There are two very strange stories that the robot tells and I wish I could upload both videos but unfortunately I can only upload one. I do not think any child would find either of the stories very entertaining and the stories are downright CREEPY!!
Only thing I wasn't thrilled with is some of the songs were a bit young, like the abc's. Bought for my 9 yr old grandson, his 1 yr old baby brother loves the ABC song, so works perfect
