poor value for money. Lidar sensors and "AI" sound promising, cleaning results are mediocre at best.App is mandatory, but rates one star. Vacuum gets stuck almost every time it runs, defeated by any rug. Hasn't been able to learn / adapt despite running several times a week for over a year.Creating "no go zones" to avoid all the areas the vacuum can't understand is one approach; an approach that also means you will need to manually vacuum after the S7 runs.Mopping feature also not worth much, sometimes can't tell if it mopped or not.Buy a "bump and go" robot vacuum, this one isn't worth the cost.

Wonderful machine - One year later. Herbert (our S7) is a year old. He has spent 169 hours (507 cycles) cleaning a total of 73,000 sq ft. The first floor of our open plan home has about 1500 sq ft of almost white 15x30 porcelain tile; the second floor is light engineered hardwood. There are oriental rugs on both floors. Herbert cleans it all very well. He is able to gather up the hair of our large Australian Shepherd as well as my wife's long, blond hair. Yes, he does mess up the fringe on the oriental rugs but never damages them. I love the ability to have him make two passes on the porcelain floors as he reverses direction for the second pass. Guests often remark how clean the floors are. Herbert gets full credit. (For the record, Herbert is named after the 31st President of the United States.)

Roborock S7 app. It seems like the machine works fine, the problem is the app, I have Iphone 12 pro max IOS 15.61. It is 5G. I downloaded the app, and it says it does not support 5G. So now, I have a wonderful item and no way to control it. How can this be fixed?

It is not as smart as projected. I have used this robot vacuum cleaner for more than 10 times already however, it does not pick the dirt or hair, which is just in front of it. It’s suction power is not that great at all. Honestly, it does not perform as much as it has been advertised.

Love my Roborock. They clean great a definite must for me with 5 dogs. This is my second Roborock my s5 lasted me a few years then I got a newer model. I did start having some issues with it almost a year after I had it but I was absolutely shocked how good their customer service and warranty department was. I will definitely be brand loyal. Great product with great customer service.

Movings parts break too often and not covered by warranty. I don't like any company that mentions that it's not covered by warranty. I don't read fine prints on the warranty. There are moving parts that cost around $40 and fail too often. I would consider it expensive compared to the total cost of the equipment.

Pathetic battery life. First day arrived with battery 60, didn't even finish a whole scan before battery low and return to dock.Second day, charged it to full and started cleaning. Didn't finish a single cleaning cycle of my tiny tiny apartment.FYI I did use the maximum power but still.Pathetic.So SO pathetic.I don't know if I received a lemon or what.Tried to exchange for a replacement to find out , but clearly they only has a return option, no exchange. Since I bough it on sale, ordering it again means more expensive price. So no, I am not happy with the product or this purchase.

Object avoidance is a joke. I don't understand the awesome reviews these things are getting this is the second one that I've had and they are absolutely garbage first of all it's not waterproof yes your robotic mop is not waterproof but that settled in for a minute and keep in mind now that if it gets water damaged it's going to cost more to repair than to buy a new one that's how I got my second one courtesy of Amazon's warranty policy because the company told me water damage is not covered under warranty this is a very important point because the object detection is utter garbage and the robot manages to literally jump into food dishes and knock over water dishes. If you don't have a cat and you don't have children then this will probably work for you but then you probably actually don't need one do you?

Reliability. I'm giving this 2 stars, because when it worked it did a decent job. I reached out to Roborock, because my vacuum/ stopped dispensing water rendering the mopping useless. If the machine doesn't dispense the water the mop is worthless and simply running a dry pad along the floor.I had the unit for just over 13 months and their warranty is 12 months. I told them I understand the unit is technically out of warranty, but something I paid $700 for should last longer than a year, and I'm one month past the warranty. They told me to send the unit to them at my expense and pay $100 to fix the issue. Again something I paid $700 for should last longer than one month past its' warranty. Not happy with this outcome, and will most likely go back to buying and using Eufy products. Eufy's customer service is phenomenal!

Waste of money. Mopping is terrible. Leaves marks of wheel and how it moves on floor. I have use every single mopping style it has and it just won't do the job. The suction power is not so good, even on turbo leaves stuff around. I wouldn't recommend it if you are like me and expect the machine to do the job for you, because usually you will have to use a broom and a mop after

The most inteligente robotic vacuum I ever had. My first robotic vacuum was a dumb Roomba, it worked great 10 years ago but once you find a robot that maps your house, divide each room in lanes, can go clean one single room and return, and is not bouncing up and down like a dumb robot you ask yourself why haven't I bought this robot before.Talking about the construction quality, this is a ln excellent solid robot.Awesome vacuum that is worth every dollar, buy and you won't regret.

4.0 I love it but I also have my complains. 3rd Vac in almost a year- 1st 2 set of Vac I got one for my house and one for the business, both broke in 11 months , I guess with time the performing Is not as great as when I first got it , ERROR 18 and Error 4 starting coming out of no where , suction wasn’t as good, corners don’t get clean as well, but I need this Vac in my life so I got a new one , even sent one of the Vac for repair as they said they would repair and I only need to pay for shipping it to them. Warranty expired November 30th 2022, today is September 23, 2022. I cleaned my living room and took before and after pictures to see the difference of the performance of my last vac vs the new one ( same S7) overall I think now is better .

Best purchase. I bought this when it was on sale. I did a lot of research since it is very expensive. I’m very happy I purchased this item over competitors. It’s more quiet than I expected, very accurate and the app you use to control is very user friendly. I’m very impressed with its mopping capability. I had a sticky spot with dirt stuck to it and the mop completely removed it. Really happy I purchased this. I hope to get the auto empty dock later. Which make cleaning even more easy.

It was a technical challenge, but now I love this!. I'm 70 years old and not a techie, so setting this up was a major challenge- I was so frustrated I nearly sent it back. The Roborock Customer Support is excellent (English is the 1st language for most of them - sometimes I have a problem with that since I don't hear well, either.) After many phone calls and e-mails with pictures and videos (both sent and received) I managed to get "Rocky" set up, and now I absolutely love it! I was the world's worst housekeeper and now the place looks great. Last night I even set a schedule for Rocky to clean the kitchen floor at 4:45 a.m., which it did, and emptied the dust bin when it was done. I thought I would have a problem with the dog attacking it, but he ignores it.

PERFECT ROBOT. BUY IT. Perfect. No issues at all. We never wear shoes at home and I used to wash floors regularly with a hand mop. Not anymore. It cleans really good, comes close to walls and corners, doesn't get stuck. Vacuums very well. App is very good. Immediate customer support. Does not have small items recognition, so I pick up wires and socks. I don't want to pay double to have this function. It's a great robot already. Just clean the robot and the mop and it will serve you well. Great little helper.

Update: Completely broke. Update:After paying to get it fixed (under warranty???), it went back to being broken within 2 months. Exact same problem, too! Bad product, worse support.I'm in love with how many features this robot has - it works 10x better than Roombas at the same price point. The warranty, not so much. The charger dock broke right before the warranty expired. Roborock made the process as difficult as possible; I had to pay for my own shipping and spend hours acquiring documentation for them.

Poor for area rugs & carpet. I bought this to replace my 12 year old Roomba 500 Series.Pros:* Great navigation and app* Vacuums hardwood floors well* Mop works better than expectedCons:* Really struggles on the edge of my area rugs and usually folds them up instead of vacuuming* Does not vacuum carpet well at all, leaving dirt and hair. Replaced rubber brush with Q5 bristled brush and got improved performance* Dirt bin is too small and hard to empty. I have to stick my hands in the dirt and pull it out of the bin because it won't fall out into the trash can.Overall, navigation and mopping is great on the S7, but my old Roomba did a better job vacuuming, especially on carpet/rugs.

Does wonders for daily cleaning. This is totally worth the money for me! We’ve had the basic Roomba for years and I always wanted something that would map out the house and be able to stay out of areas without blocking them off. I was sold on this one when I realized it mops too! It is definitely not deep cleaning and it leaves faint mop lines on our tile but it’s way better than the dusty foot prints that show up daily on the floors. I bought extra mop pads and change it out daily. It does my main areas daily and I have it cycle through Al the other rooms throughout the week. Definitely worth the money, very happy with the purchase, keeps messy floors at bay in between deep cleanings.

Gets lost or stuck frequently. With LIDAR, a map of my home'e floor plan, and bump sensors, you would think this $650 robot vacuum would be excellent at avoiding obstacles and getting stuck. Well, you'd be wrong. This things is constantly getting stuck or lost in my home. Sometime it will just sit on the edge of a carpet and bare floor for 2-3 minutes moving left and right but not going anywhere. Many times it cannot find the dock to return to charging. The map keeps changing and adding rooms that don't exist. Plus the dust bin collector is never full because the tube leading to the bin gets clogged. Very disappoj Ted with the performance of this robot vacuum. If I could return it for a full refund I would.

Great Robot Vacuum. This is my first Robot vacuum cleaner, and I am very pleased with it. I love the functionality and ability to control everything from the app. I typically clean a few rooms at a time so that I can use the deep cleaning features. So far, I have been very happy with the results. It never fails to surprise me how much dirt this vacuum finds and picks up. I have also enjoyed the mopping feature, though it has taken me some time to understand the quirks. Initially, I wasn't sure the mopping function was working well enough to bother with it. But I have learned that it helps to wet the mop pad ahead and then set it to do just mopping on the deep cleaning setting for at least 2-3 rounds. It seems to do a much better job this way. I ordered extra mop pads so that I can change them out after it has deep cleaned a room or two (depending on the size of the rooms). That way, the pads don't get too dirty and just start moving dirt around the house.

Upgrade from S5. This thing is awesome. I love my S5 Max, and I'm still using it on a different floor. The biggest improvement is rug handling, and it doesn't get stuck as often on edges (carpet or room transitions). The mop function is slightly improved, but it's still more of a fancy floor duster. Don't get me wrong, the floors feel great after it mops. It just won't get stains or anything stuck on the floor. It's kinda pricey, but absolutely worth it on sale.

Works but difficult for different floors. This works really well on completely flat vinyl and wood flooring. I can’t seem to get to transition any more over area rugs. If mop canister is installed it won’t do any area that can’t be mopped meaning it’s not smart enough to not use the solution when it’s already identified carpet and/or rugs. Very frustrating. Overall it vacuums well but the mop feature is mediocre at best.

Effective. Easy to set up. I currently have several grand-pets staying with me - one a German shepherd and he sheds a lot! This works great for daily cleaning and has done wonders in keeping my floors clean for my grand baby who crawls and lives here part-time. FYI: Not the best to clean up spaghetti thrown on the floor. Also recommend you get the auto empty dock as the container on the device is pretty small

Love it!!. I am not sure why I waited so long to jump on the robo vaca craze. It works really really well. I am still going to deep clean with both the vac and mop once a month but this is defiantly keeping my house clean between deep cleans. I have mixed flooring of floor rugs, hardwood and tile. It adjusts to all these surfaces and has gotten itself out of a few tight places. I has gotten hung up behind a chair or caught in the bathroom. I have made these areas off limits and its getting better and better with each use. I have already gotten 3 friends to purchase based on my recommendation and all are pleased. Love it!

Smart robot. Very good vacuum + mop function into one robot. It took me a chunk of time to clean the floor but now I just sit back and set schedule for the robot to do cleaning. Only complain is the dust filter is easy to capture the dust which means I cannot just empty it without touching. Most of time I’ll either have to rinse it under water or put my fingers in to remove lints. Otherwise it’s a very smart robot

It’s ok at first.. The first few times we used this vacuum it was great but after about a week I noticed there was still some dog hair here and there after it went around the whole house. We’ve tried remapping the house, emptying it every 10 min (hair gets stuck in the suction and won’t go all the way to the canister), nothing works. Our entire home is tile flooring. Never had an issue with our previous s5 model. This one just isn’t made as well as their previous ones which sucks bc they’re not cheap.. too late to return so we’re screwed.

Roborock Sucks In All The Right Ways. When I received this vacuum, I didn't have very high expectations. However, this vacuum/mop excels. The mopping function is just what I need it to be, I can schedule the vacuum to run on specific days in specific rooms and not give any further thought to it.The ease of use is extremely high. You install a base for the vacuum along a wall, connect with it using the app, and off it goes. The vacuum maps your home (while vacuuming) and after it finishes, it automatically divides the home into "rooms". After that, you can have the vacuum only go to specific rooms, have it never go in specific areas, or only mop in specific areas, etc.Full disclosure, I don't have pets or kids, so my needs for vacuuming are low by comparison. But it's great at spot-vacuuming or mopping, and I have zero issues with the vacuum at this time.

Not just great at vacuuming, but brilliant at mopping too!. I really love it. That said, if you have a German Shepherd like me (mines an older puppy, 11 months now), it's not going to be able to suck up the dog hair at all. It's just simply too much for it and it gets jammed. If you're looking at dust, dirty, very light debris, it's an excellent robo cleaner. Top notch stuff. The mopping function is mindblowing.

Perfect vacuum suction. I have a Euffy too in my other house. This one has more suction so you must pick up any skinny cords. She talks to you which is kind of fun. If she’s stuck you can find her by following the voice. Haven’t tried the mop part of the vacuum yet.

Buyer beware. I really loved this vacuum, when it works. However, after 6 months the suction suddenly stopped working. The manufacturer was very difficult to deal with. After 3 weeks of email correspondence and providing many videos and pictures I was told that I had to pay to send it to repair and potentially pay for the repairs as well. After spending nearly $800 on a vacuum I would expect it to work for more than 6 months and would also expect a replacement when it doesn't. I'm working with Amazon now to try to find resolve...

Worth the money. The vacuum does a pretty good job on most surfaces. The biggest weakness is picking up pet hair on the carpet. It does an ok job but we still need to get the big vacuum out once a week or so. Not a huge deal since the mop function is what we were really after and our house is mostly tile. The mop function is where the real value comes in. We have mostly tile floors and it does a fantastic job even with paw prints from our dogs. There is a limit, but with the joystick feature/deep clean feature, it's surprising how much it can pick up. The scrubbing power combined with the cleaning solution roborock sells means I really only need to mop once a month or so for that truly deep clean.Overall I would buy again for the 800 dollar price as it was worth it!

We feel like the Jetson's. For those old enough to remember the “Jetsons” cartoon, there was Rosie the robot maid. This may be as close as we currently get. It is so nice to have the floors stay clean. We run the vac daily on the high traffic areas and less frequently elsewhere. The overall cleanliness of the house is definitely improved. The vacuum required very little assembly right out of the box. Install the dust bin, water container and the mop bracket and you are ready to clean. It took about 3 hours to do the initial cleaning and discovery of our 1700 sq ft. The low profile allows cleaning under dressers and couches I was not expecting. So watch the cords in these areas. Very impressed that the vacuum handles a rug area with quite a deep pile. This rug is very difficult with our upright Dyson vacuum. Setting up room and cleaning schedules was extremely easy in the Roborock app. After that just enjoy the automated cleaning as Rosie does the rest.

Must have. We use it for cleaning wooden flooring of our 1200 sqft apartment. We are very pleased with the product. It’s very efficient and effective in both vacuuming and mopping floor that too simultaneously. It’s must have for people who are looking for helping hand in house hold activities. Very intuitive application, which can be operated by anyone once configured. Maps keep improving with every use. No complaints. I am glad we made this investment, so we can save some time in return.

Wife is ecstatic !. Bought this for my wife and she could not be happier. Controls everything from her phone, cleans hardwoods and carpets, works in the dark, doesn't squirrel out and vacuum the same spot repeatedly, and completes the entire main floor with one intermediate charge. I'm happy she's happy.

Best for cleaning m&m. If your goal is to clean m&m or the like this is the robot for it. My experience was much better with S6 for the general purpose except cleaning spilled m&ms.

Works as expected. Description is intentionally misleading. Works as expected. Does NOT come with the self cleaning docking station as the Description suggests. Very misleading. Cheaper versions with more features are available from other manufacturers.

It’s ok. It’s good for simple floor cleaning. It does NOT do deep cleans. I’ve had it for almost a year now and it’s not without its problems.I’ve already had to send it in for repairs once. Getting stuck in the middle of a room, going over the same area multiple times, and throwing an error code. Even though I tried to tell the support people that my issues started with a firmware update, they insisted on it being hardware. They replaced the main wheels and it fixed absolutely nothing. Months later a new firmware was released, no more problems. Now the carpet boost feature is having issues…I don’t think any of these robots are perfect, but I will not be purchasing another Shark/Roborock product.

Controllable and flexible. It has been a lot better than other robot vacs I have bad before. The fact that I can set up zones and schedule the cleaning and mop each differently is amazing. Flexibility in my apartment is what I needed.Another cool fact is you can name it using Alexa and call it. Although it needs a bit more updates by the company to accept different commands. Nut the app itself is full of flexibility. The only issues I have , one is the mop is not strong enough even in the highest level. So some of the tiles will need to be cleaned separately each week.

One of the most advanced cleaning robots in the market. This is one of the most advanced cleaning robots in the market. It cleans my carpets much better than my Dirt devil vacuum, and is able to easily go under your sofas and beds to clean. It acts pretty smart comparing to most of the other similar products.

Terrible Performance, bad customer service experience - Finally returned the item. The media could not be loaded.

This is our first Robo vacuum S7, totally disappointed. product was not functioning well and getting stuck in the middle of random spot. Opened a support case and for months it's going back and forth and they are keep on asking to try this and that..I fed up with the poor customer service, finally returned the product to Amazon.

Not for medium/high pile carpets. The side brush on the S7 gets stuck every time it runs on my carpet. This thing isn’t designed to handle medium pile carpets.

Disappointed I tried 2 different S7's, each has a different problem. So disappointed in this product. This first one I got worked on first use. Then it kept dropping the internet connection. After trying setting up a hot spot, using a different app, resetting, etc., etc, I exchanged it for another. The second holds the internet connection, but I can't get rid of error 4 - cliff sensors. Apparently this comes from a dark floor and/or area rugs, all of which I have. So strange each machine has a different problem. I love the idea of this product, but not if it doesn't work!!!

Great robot floor vac and mop. Very easy to setup. Once I downloaded the app it was pretty clear how to use. Even on quiet mode it is not so quiet that you wouldn't know it is going. Love the mop. I do stop it between rooms to clean the mop. I haven't tried sending it to my carpeted rooms with the mop in place. Really helps with hard floors and keeping up with everyday dust and daily life.

Game changer!!. Amazing product and worth the investment. Once you have your rooms mapped out on the app, all you have to do is empty the dustbin fill the water chamber and change the mop. The app is intuitive and easy to use, making this product even more of a joy to help with my chores.Definitely worth the investment!

Great vacuum, but read on if you have pets. After purchasing one for myself I decided to buy another a gift for my sister. The docking station does a poor job of emptying pet hair and has to be emptied manually most of the time due to clogging. Also use caution when setting these up to run at night or in your absence if you have pets. A dog got sick and this thing ran straight through it and mopped the house with liquid dog p**p on the mop head after it drove straight trough it.

Revolutionary device for us. How did we live without it?. This robot vacuum has been as revolutionary as when we bought our first microwave oven, or our first cell phone. It vacuums every morning, takes about 1 hour, floors are always clean. I love watching it work. Setup was easy. I know that there are many of these devices on the market and this is our first one. But I completely love it. It could not be better in any way.

Product broke quickly and customer service was difficult. I would avoid purchasing this device. I bought it in December and 8 months later it failed. It was no subject to hard use. I called their service department and was met with demands for pictures 3 calls later they decided I needed to send it in for service. First the demanded I research and provide email proof of when and where I bought it. They then sent an email saying even though it was in the warranty period, it might not be covered. Their customer service seems suspect and they seem unwilling to fix a $900 product that worked for less than a year

This tech is amazing. Way better than Roomba. Bought this Roborock S7 to replace a 3 year old Roomba for my wife. The Roomba worked fine, but this Roborock is a whole different level of tech. The mobile app and AI mapping are really impressive. The automatic mapping worked great and I was able to configure exact areas with names for each room. I love that it shows exactly where it has cleaned during each session and you can specify certain rooms for cleaning. The mopping feature works surprisingly well, but we only use it occasionally and always make sure to prep the mop attachment.I would say the vacuuming is about on par with the Roomba, so that is a little disappointing, but the extra features are more than enough to make this a great upgrade in my opinion.

Love this robot. I've had the Roborock S7 for a month and with three pets and three boys in the house I have this robot cleaning every day. I love that I can schedule the cleaning. The mop is like a damp mop, not a deep clean, but mopping regularly keeps the floors clean. Emptying the dust bin is messy, I ordered the automatic empty doc after a few times of cleaning out the dust bin. The automatic empty doc is not cheap but worth it because I use the vacuum feature so much.

Died in 9 months. Water tank started to leak into the main operating system and ended up messing up the electronics. Had to pay to get it shipped to get it fixed, even though it was their products fault. I knew I should have going with iRobot. Also, poor deep cleaning. Rug always felt dirty after. Not terrible mopping feature.
